Gran Enemigo Torrontés 2019 – Bodega Aleanna - Vintage: 2020 - Winemaker: Alejandro Vigil - Variety: Torrontés - Vine age: 20 years - Soil: Limestone - Altitude: 1600 meters above sea level - Aging: 18 months with fermentation in amphorae - Region: Mendoza, Valle del Uco, Gualtallary estate, Argentina.
Pairing: oily fish, shellfish, white meats, pasta and rice dishes.
Tasting Notes: A very complex and subtle wine that breaks with the traditional Torrontés profile. Aromas of white flowers (jasmine), pear, and citrus are interwoven with notes of spice and a pronounced mineral character reminiscent of chalk and stone. A sharp acidity and minerality make it very taut and refined. It is a dry, full-bodied wine with a long finish.
