Bérêche & Fils is one of the region's most acclaimed family-run wineries, renowned for its meticulous work ethic and deep respect for the terroir. Founded in 1847, the winery is now managed by brothers Raphaël and Vincent Bérêche, the fifth generation of the family. Their philosophy is based on sustainable and biodynamic viticultural practices, avoiding the use of herbicides and pesticides. In the winery, their approach is one of minimal intervention.
Bérêche & Fils – Winery: Coopérative Vinicole de Gueux – Winemakers: Raphaël and Vincent Bérêche – Variety: Pinot Meunier (organic farming) – Vines: 40 years old – Soil: Clay-limestone – Altitude: 300 meters above sea level – Aging: 36 months – Dosage: 6 g/l – Origin: Champagne, France – Estate: Marne.
Pairing: Seafood, fish, sushi, fatty cheeses and white meats.
Tasting Notes: A Champagne of great personality and complexity. The nose reveals aromas of white fruits and citrus, accompanied by notes of pastry and nuts, with a mineral and saline background. On the palate, it is creamy and full-bodied, with a refreshing acidity that provides tension. The finish is long, elegant, and profoundly balanced.
